Alike the lake and volcano, another tourist attraction of Kintamani is Pura Ulun Danu Batur, a nine directional temple.

The village of Banua is located at an altitude of 1000 m from 900 m just before the Batur lake. Residents of this village respect the traditional Bali Hindu lifestyle. Although the main industries are agriculture and forestry, local forests are deteriorating by cutting trees as furniture materials and residential materials in the past. Currently, villagers are re-making a natural environment in accordance with the theory of agroforestry. For that purpose, they are trying to enrich biodiversity while cultivating trees and bamboos that become fruit trees and lumber trees that produce monetary value.

Villagers are efforting to enrich the natural environment of the village, while working hard to ensure that agriculture and forestry works.
